Garner Studio was established in 1991 by Kip and Tammy Garner as a part-time
wedding photography service. In the years since its inception, Garner Studio has
grown into a full-service portrait photography business whose offerings include
family portraits, high school senior portraits, kids and infant portraits, as
well as servicing many local schools, sports leagues, day care facilities and
dance academies.
By 1996, the studio had outgrown its location in a
spare bedroom and was moved to a new location on East Highway 82. The studio
flourished and expanded into high school senior portraits and commercial
photography. It was during this time that digital imaging began to change the
way photography studios operate, and Garner Studio was no exception. By
embracing the “digital revolution” Garner Studio was able to offer its clients
new and innovative products as well as faster turn-around.
In 1998, construction was begun on the current
facility, a 1500 square-foot studio complete with changing room, office and a
large camera room. Located on 2 acres just outside of Gainesville, the studio is
able to capture indoor and outdoor portraits within its current setting. Today,
the studio utilizes a completely digital workflow in combination with
imaginative cutting-edge scenes and props that are regularly updated to provide
its clients with truly unique photographs. Traditional Old Master backgrounds
are also available for formal family and executive-style portraits.
Garner Studio continues to prove that a winning product
coupled with excellent customer service, a passion for what you do, hard work
and a “home-town-friendly” attitude can drive a successful business regardless
of its location. Delivering tasteful, creative portraiture in a relaxed,
family-oriented environment has given the owners of Garner Studio the pleasure
of serving the North Texas and Southern Oklahoma area for over 17 years.
